Major: Nursing

Favorite class and why?

Pharmacology quickly became my favorite class because it bridges the fascinating worlds of biology and chemistry, offering insights into how various drugs interact with the human body. The thrill of understanding the mechanisms of action, side effects, and therapeutic uses of medications keeps me constantly engaged and eager to learn more. Plus, the potential to make a real difference in patients' lives by understanding how to optimize drug therapy makes it an incredibly rewarding field to study.

What is your major?

Choosing nursing as my major has been an exciting and rewarding journey. This field offers a unique blend of science, compassion, and hands-on experience that continuously motivates me. Through my coursework and clinical rotations, I've gained a deep understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology, as well as invaluable practical skills in patient care. Nursing allows me to make a tangible difference in people's lives, whether by providing comfort and support during difficult times or by contributing to their recovery and well-being. The opportunity to specialize in areas like pediatrics, geriatrics, or critical care also adds to the dynamic and diverse nature of this profession.

Where do you hope to be in 5 years?

In five years, I envision myself in a leadership position, empowered by a master's degree in nursing education. This goal represents not only a culmination of my dedication to the nursing profession but also a commitment to fostering growth and excellence in healthcare. With a master's degree in nursing education, I will have honed my expertise in curriculum development, instructional strategies, and leadership principles, enabling me to effectively mentor and guide future nurses. My goal is promoting best practices, evidence-based care, and continuous professional development within my team. I aspire to create a supportive and collaborative work environment where nurses feel valued and motivated to deliver the highest standard of patient care. By leveraging my educational background, I will be able to implement innovative training programs that enhance the skills and competencies of our nursing specialty, ultimately improving patient outcomes.
