York College CUNY Explorers "Dream Team Tour" and STEM Creative Programs
Attention teachers, principals, counselors, and CBOs! York College invites you to an unforgettable day of exploration and hands-on learning tailored to inspire your students and expose them to exciting career paths. Our "Dream Team Tour" and STEM Creative Programs are designed to spark curiosity and provide meaningful college exposure.
Tour Schedule:
- Morning Session: 9:15 AM - 1 PM
- Afternoon Session: 1 PM - 5 PM
We understand that transportation schedules may cause delays, and that’s perfectly fine! Whether you arrive at 9:15 AM or closer to 10:00 AM, we’ll ensure a smooth and enriching experience for your students.
Every visit includes the "Dream Team Tour":
Embark on a 45-minute guided adventure across six unique stops on York College’s vibrant campus. Led by our knowledgeable Visit Guides, this tour offers a glimpse into student life, academics, and the exciting opportunities available to inspire future aspirations.

- Aviation Flight Simulator
Depending on the day’s schedule and department availability, your group may also visit the Creative Content Lab, The Maker Space Lab, or the Occupational Therapy Lab.

📻 College Radio Station Showcase
Engage your students in podcasting and radio production. They’ll even go live on YC Radio to share their dreams and aspirations on air!
🩺 Nursing Lab STEM Program
Step into the Nursing Lab for hands-on healthcare simulations, offering an insightful look into the skills and dedication required in this rewarding field.
Thursdays:
🤖 Aviation and Robotics Adventure

9:30 AM - 10:00 AM (1 PM - 2 PM)
Morning Presentation:
Welcome and introduction to the day’s activities.
10:00 AM - 11:30 AM ( 2 PM - 3:30 PM)
- Dream Team Tour / STEM Programs:
Explore the campus and participate in engaging STEM programs.
11:30 AM - 12:15 PM (3:30 PM - 4:15 PM)
- Lunch & CUNY Guides Presentation:
During lunch, our CUNY Guides will present on:- Majors and minors
- College personality tests
- Financial aid
- College admissions requirements
12:20 PM (4:20)
- Surveys
Complete feedback surveys to help us improve future experiences.
12:30 PM - 1:00 PM (4:30 PM - 5 PM)
- Photos, Diplomas distributions, Restrooms, & Personal Talks:
Wrap up the day with group photos, restroom breaks, and inspiring one-on-one conversations with our Visit Guides in the Atrium.

- We encourage you to send in your photo consent form so that our media team can take photos and promote your school visit. However, either way, we will ensure that all photos taken are sent to the designated staff contact via email.
- Please refrain from signing up for tours you are unsure about or are likely to cancel. We put great effort into preparing these tours, and every student deserves the chance to visit the campus. By holding an uncertain slot, you may prevent another student from attending.
